‘Common sense’: Peter Dutton applauded over one flag stance

IPA Deputy Executive Director Daniel Wild has applauded Peter Dutton’s decision to only display the Australian flag during press conferences if elected. “What’s been interesting to me is that no one really has defended the three flags, no one’s actually explained why we need it as a community. They’ve just deflected and started to blame Peter Dutton,” Mr Wild said. “A flag is a symbol of sovereignty and having three flags dilutes that claim to sovereignty. “It’s also just complete common sense, it’s utterly uncontroversial among normal Australians around the country.”
