Healthcare professionals on island attended a 2-day training hosted by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs and CARPHA, focused on improving the islands health surveillance system. This system is used to monitor changes in infectious diseases within a nation. St. Lucia’s surveillance system has been in place since 2014 and according to officials has played a major role in surveillance on island.
