‘Complete lie’: Chalmers rebukes Dutton’s nuclear plan

Treasurer Jim Chalmers has slammed Opposition Leader Peter Dutton for having “deliberately lied” about the modelling of his nuclear plan. “Queenslanders don’t want to be anywhere near Peter Dutton’s nuclear meltdown,” Mr Chalmers said. “The LNP in Queensland have said no way to nuclear in Queensland, and, before that, Peter Dutton either deliberately lied or he had absolutely no idea of his own modelling of his only policy. “He said yesterday that in the Frontier modelling prices will go down by 44 per cent. “That is a complete lie, or it is an absolutely humiliating mistake.”
