Concerns Coalition and Greens will ‘band together’ to ‘kill off’ Labor’s housing agenda

Labor Senator Tim Ayres says it “wouldn’t be a surprise” to see the coalition and Greens band together to ‘kill off” part of Labor’s housing agenda. “We’ve just seen this morning nearly 14,000 homes in the first round of one of the other schemes, being announced,” Mr Ayres told Sky News Australia. “This is all about trying to push more supply … the more houses there are, the more houses we build, the cheaper rents will be and the more affordable those homes will be.”
