Concerns energy rebates could be inflationary

Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume has raised concerns about the government energy rebates being inflationary. “There are some arguments to say when the government uses taxpayers’ money to subsidise things like energy … in fact that can be more inflationary,” she said. “If we want to see inflation come back, we do, we must … there has to be a better way.”
