There are concerns Opposition Leader Peter Dutton's nuclear plan could lead to widespread blackouts. According to modelling released by Energy Minister Chris Bowen - the Coalition's plan could result in demand-supply gaps of up to 49 per cent. He is releasing the data ahead of the Opposition Leader's speech spruiking Nuclear in Sydney on Monday. The Coalition claims their nuclear, gas and renewables mix is needed to prevent power outages.
