Concerns upcoming UK election could be ‘most disastrous’ for Conservative Party

Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue says the upcoming United Kingdom election is “probably going to be” one of the “most disastrous election cycles” for the Conservative Party (Tories). Ms Krakue says it’s the kind of defeat that could “bring down the whole party entirely”. “There’s no real point in removing Rishi Sunak now,” Ms Krakue said. “The damage was done long before he became Prime Minister. “I think the Tories need to look at actually their values and whether they are still a conservative party in name as well as in practice.”
