Congress certifies Trump's election victory

A joint session of Congress counted electoral votes from the November election and certified Donald Trump's victory. Vice President Kamala Harris, who lost to Trump, presided over the proceeding. It was a stark contrast to the riot of Jan. 6, 2021, when Trump supporters stormed the Capitol.
