Congress Not The Same It Used To Be, Doesn't Give Merit To Talent Anymore: Milind Deora
Milind Deora on Sunday came down heavily on his the Congress party, minutes after joining Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde. He said, "From morning I have been getting a lot of calls asking why I ended 55-year-old family ties with the Congress. I just want to tell you all that I was party's (Congress) lawyer in its most challenging decade. It is sad that today's Congress and 1968's Congress, when my late father joined the party, are different. Today's Congress and 2004's Congress, when I joined the party, are also different." He also targeted Shiv Sena (UBT), saying, "If Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) had given merit to capability and would have taken constructive and positive suggestions into consideration, Eknath Shinde and I would have not been sitting here." Former union minister Milind Deora on Sunday joined Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena, hours after quitting Congress. Deora and his supporters were inducted in Shiv Sena by CM Eknath Shinde. The former union minister quit Congress on the day Rahul Gandhi started his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. #milinddeora #congress #shivsena #eknathshinde Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
