Conjunctivitis threat - Contagious red eye disease hits several villages in Busia district

Busia District has registered a total number of around 180 cases of infection with a contagious red eye disease (conjunctivitis) in the villages of Lwaniha, Buhayenje, Mapedo, Mudondo, Bujunula and Bumalakani in masaba parish, masaba Sub County in Busia District. It is now three weeks since this contagious red eye disease started in the village of Lwaniha, in the house of a one, Ouma Patrick, and has since gone on to spread to various villages, parishes and sub counties.
