Construction of Intel's new chip plant in Penang slows down

Intel is said to have slowed down construction of its new chip-packaging and testing project in Penang. Unconfirmed reports stated that the US chip giant plans to cut its workforce by 15 per cent. The move may affect some 2,000 employees in the Malaysian state. CNA's Melissa Goh reports from Penang, where Intel has been operating for over five decades.
