Consumers urged not to accept substandard goods

The head of a local consumer watchdog body is advising consumers against accepting sub-standard quality goods or services from businesses. Executive Director of the Barbados Consumer Empowerment Betwork (BCEN), Maureen Holder is telling customers to take the goods back and get a refund. She adds that there are numerous agencies customers can turn to if they are presented with any challenges in this respect.
