Cool change eases Victoria bushfire warnings

Several bushfire warnings have been downgraded across Victoria, allowing locals in the Grampians to return home. A cool change swept through the state's west yesterday, easing fires in the area. Around 600 firefighters are battling the blaze which has so far burnt through almost 75,000 hectares. Livestock and sheds have been lost in the blaze, but it's unclear if any homes have been damaged. Relief payments have been made available to residents affected by the fires.
