CoP Commends Officers For Massive Narcotics Haul In Tobago

The Commissioner of Police, Erla Harewood-Christopher is commending the exceptional efforts of the officers in the Tobago Division for their significant breakthrough in the fight against narcotics and firearm trafficking on Monday. The Commissioner applauded ACP Oswain Subero and Snr. Supt. Ellie for their effective leadership, which has bolstered the Tobago Division’s operational capabilities. She added that even as some view Tobago as a ‘soft target’ and the ideal place to conduct their criminal activities, the TTPS is saying a resounding “no” to this notion. This operation the Commissioner says is a testament to the dedication of police officers and their resolve to disrupt criminal enterprises. The two suspects, one from Marabella and the other from Buccoo, remain in police custody as investigations continue.
