Corporate Barbados urged to support One Family Programme

Corporate Barbados is being asked to contribute to Government's One Family Programme. Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey says while several businesses have been offering assistance to the programme, which seeks to reach 1000 vulnerable families, there is a need for others to follow suit. He made the appeal as the Barbados Light and Power Company Ltd made a donation to the effort which Mr. Humphrey says Government intends to expand. Managing Director of the BL&P Roger Blackman says the company is pleased to make the donation to the One Family Programme, through its 'Brighten Your Christmas' initiative.
