The defense in the historic case against two apartheid security officers, has argued that the pair cannot be put on trial because the alleged crimes took place more than 20 years ago. On 15 February 1982, four young students from Kagiso were blown up by members of the apartheid police. Eustice Madikela, Ntshingo Mataboge and Fanyana Nhlapo were killed. Zandisile Musi was seriously injured. Former police officer Christiaan Rorich and askari Tlhomedi Mfalapitsa are facing charges of kidnapping, murder and crimes against humanity. eNCA Senior reporter Silindelo Masikane has more details.
