Councils invaded by ‘greenie wokes’

Verve Communications Director Prue MacSween has taken aim at councils being invaded by “greenie wokes”. Ms MacSween’s remarks come amid Randwick Mayor Philipa Veitch’s calls for a Captain Cook statue to be removed. “I think we should get rid of councils,” Ms MacSween told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio. “They’re just an irritant. “They don’t do their jobs properly.”
