James Alderman, who was known as Jimmy, was being breastfed in the baby carrier worn by his mother. An inquest into his death heard that Jimmy had ended up in an unsafe position too far down the sling, and he collapsed, tragically dying three days later. The coroner has warned there's just not enough information available for parents on the risks, and said action must be taken to prevent future deaths. Jimmy's parents - George, a Sky News employee, and Ellie Alderman - are now calling for a set of industry safety standards for baby carriers.
