India reported 142 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday with the active caseload rising to 1,970, according to Union Health Ministry data. The death toll reached 5,33,318 after one death was recorded in Karnataka due to coronavirus, latest update by the health ministry said. Six deaths were reported till Monday -- five alone in Kerala and one in Uttar Pradesh, the Health Ministry data showed.
