COVID risk ‘relatively mild’ ahead of Christmas

Epidemiologist Dr Clay Golledge has not seen a COVID death in his practice for over two years from someone who was not otherwise seriously unwell. Health authorities are advising people to make sure their vaccines are up to date as infections rise. “It’s behaving just like the flu in many ways and relatively mild,” Mr Golledge told Sky News Australia. “All in all, things are travelling very nicely.”
