The Justice Minister has reopened the inquiry into the deaths of the Cradock Four. Matthew Goniwe, Sparrow Mkonto, Fort Calata and Sicelo Mhlauli were murdered in 1985. They were stopped and arrested in a roadblock up by the notorious security branch. In 1999 the TRC denied amnesty for six security officers involved in the murders. For decades families have called for investigations to be reopened, saying they are still waiting for the truth. To discuss we’re joined by the late Fort Calata’s Son, Lukhanyo Calata. #enca #dstv403 Watch the full interview: https://www.enca.com/videos/cradock-four-inquest-families-hoping-closure-justice-minister-reopens-inquiry
