CRBC: Local Businesses still await VAT Return Commitments

Local small and medium business owners have welcomed the Ministry of Finance's extension of the Tax Amnesty. However, the Confederation of Regional Business Chambers chairman Vivek Charran is calling on the government to fulfill its promise of issuing VAT returns. Charran also criticized the VAT system, describing it as unfair and disadvantageous to small and medium enterprises. Charran appeared earlier today on CNC3's The Morning Brew.
