Criminals on NDIS to be assessed by panel

Convicted criminals and sex offenders who apply for NDIS support after leaving jail will be assessed by a panel of justice experts. NDIS Minister Bill Shorten will announce the new panel today. It will provide the government advice on the management of scheme participants, to ensure they do not pose a risk to community safety.
