CrowdStrike CEO apologises for major worldwide outage

CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz has apologised for the global IT outage caused by a failed software update for Windows. “We know what the issue is, we are resolving and have resolved the issue now,” Mr Kurtz said. “It is our mission ... to make sure that every customer is fully recovered and we are not going to relent until we get every customer back to where they were.” CrowdStrike shares are down roughly 18 per cent as a result of the tech outage.
