CrowdStrike urged to ‘take some learnings’ following global IT outage

Tech Guide editor Stephen Fenech says the major outage caused by a CrowdStrike content update has “taken its toll” worldwide. An unprecedented global IT outage which knocked down systems around the world is still being felt with calamitous effects. “Hopefully they will learn, CrowdStrike have come out and are so apologetic about it, but I think they should take some learnings out of this,” Mr Fenech told Sky News Australia.
