The Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), Dr. Robert Floyd, paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Energy and Minerals offices in Entebbe to assess Uganda's progress in testing nuclear facilities. Dr. Floyd, who has been a NAM delegate, pledged CTBTO's commitment to supporting Uganda under the Ministry of Energy in intensifying efforts to test and collect nuclear data, contributing to a nuclear testing-free world. According to State Minister for Mineral Development, Peter Lokeris, there is a need for the country to test nuclear facilities used in agriculture, hospitals, and other facilities that may be harmful to the environment and human beings. Currently, the ministry has installed nuclear data collecting centers in regions across the country. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
