CULTURE TO BE MAJOR FOCUS WHEN SCHOOL HOURS ARE EXTENDED

The Government is to engage in consultations with key stakeholders as part of plans to extend school hours in public schools. A pilot programme for this extension could be launched as early as next year, with culture expected to be a major linchpin of the extended hours. Shannakisha Francis reports.
