Customers left without ‘much choice’ when businesses raise the prices of essential items

Simon-Kucher Australia Partner Christoph Petzoldt says customers don’t have “much choice” when businesses raise prices for essential items. According to new research, 83 per cent of businesses successfully passed price increases to customers to keep up with inflation. But 70 per cent are still engaged in a price war.
