Cyber theft compromises the frequent flyer points of around 1000 Qantas customers

The frequent flyer points of around 1,000 Qantas customers have been compromised due to a major cyber theft. Two contractors working for Air India have been suspended by their employer for accessing and altering Qantas bookings. It is alleged the contractors attempted to redirect points to an account under their control. Local police have been informed of the cyber theft, but the airline has yet to notify impacted customers.
