A total fire ban has been declared across the state for Boxing Day, as any small fire can prove to be extremely dangerous. “There is a severe weather warning in place,” Mr Sharpe said. “It is a dangerous situation with these fierce winds. “It is going to be quite tricky for firefighters.”
