Danielle Smith unveils plans to amend Alberta Bill of Rights to protect gun, property owners

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says her government will introduce legislation that will reaffirm the rights of gun owners and property owners in the province, as well as the right to bodily autonomy. Smith announced the proposed amendments to Alberta’s Bill of Rights in a video uploaded to social media on Tuesday. Smith indicated plans for three different amendments to the Bill of Rights, though it was not immediately clear how or if the amendments will materially impact Albertans or their rights.
