Daughter of Lee Kuan Yew, Dr Lee Wei Ling, dies aged 69; wake at Singapore Casket

The younger brother of Dr Lee Wei Ling said he will not be returning to Singapore for her wake and funeral. Instead, Mr Lee Hsien Yang said he is organising her funeral remotely as per the wishes of Dr Lee, who died on Oct 9. Dr Lee's wake starts on Oct 10 at Singapore Casket. She is the daughter of Singapore's founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew. In 2020, she disclosed that she had been diagnosed with a terminal brain disease. Nicolas Ng and Alif Amsyar report.
