David Crisafulli pledges $35m Moreton Bay environmental initiative

A Queensland LNP government will invest $35 million into an initiative to stop plastic from flowing into Moreton Bay, in the state's southeast. The planned filtration systems will prevent plastic or litter larger than five millimeters from entering the water, where they can degrade the environment and kill marine life. It's the Opposition's second environmental funding pledge during the first week of the campaign.
