Using greener biofuel on ships, and setting up routes among like-minded ports to reduce carbon footprint and improve air quality - these were among key discussions at the Singapore Maritime Week, which closes on Apr 19. More than 10,000 delegates took part in the event. CNA spoke to David Libatique, Deputy Executive Director of Stakeholder Engagement at Port of Los Angeles, and Francois Xavier Accard, Managing Director of international shipping company CMA CGM. They talked about how to get more companies onboard with greener biofuels. They also discussed how to grow a green shipping network in the years ahead.
