A star system about 3,000 light years away is expected to briefly explode into brightness. A guest star in the night sky, called T Cor Bor cannot normally be seen by the naked eye - but in a celestial event that takes place about every 80 years - could become visible in the night sky. The astronomical phenomenon is caused by the interaction between two stars orbiting each other - but pinpointing the exact date it will happen can be tricky, with a few false sightings of T Cor Bor over the years and few records to refer to.
