Barbadians are being assured the soon-to-be-constructed South Coast Sewage Treatment Plant will be following the highest standards and embracing new technology. That matter was addressed last night by the Barbados Water Authority's General Manager Keithroy Halliday following a question raised during the town hall meeting at the Deighton Griffith School. The meeting was the second held on the topic of the new plant and it attracted an audience comprised of experts and residents. Manager of Water Resources and Environmental Management, Alex Ifill, says the plans for the new Plant also address how to deal with sludge.
