Death of Walmart worker in bakery oven not suspicious, police say

Police in Halifax say they have ruled the death of a 19-year-old employee at a Walmart bakery as not suspicious. Gursimran Kaur’s body was found in a commercial oven in the store bakery on Oct. 19. Const. Martin Cromwell said police conducted interviews and reviewed video footage to determine if there was any criminality. Police said there was no evidence of foul play but did not say how Kaur died. Nova Scotia's Department of Labour is now leading the investigation.
