In 2023, during President Lula's visit to China, the Chinese Military Band performed the Brazilian classic Novo Tempo (New Era). Composed during Brazil's military dictatorship, this iconic song embodies hope and resilience, touching hearts worldwide. To celebrate 50 years of China-Brazil diplomatic ties, we created a tri-lingual version of Novo Tempo (New Era) as a tribute to our enduring friendship and the rise of the Global South.
