Democrats slammed for ‘reckless rhetoric’ after second attempt on Trump’s life

Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes has slammed the Democrats for their “reckless rhetoric” after the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump. The FBI investigation is underway after multiple shots were fired at Donald Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach in a second attempt on his life. It is understood one of the shooters was a suspicious person who had attended the golf course with intent to harm the former president. “This is where we see the power of words can impact how society behaves,” Ms Hughes told Sky News Australia. “We’ve seen such just reckless rhetoric coming from the Democrats referring to President Trump as … a danger to democracy.”
