On November 16, Dr. Kizza Besigye, a prominent Ugandan opposition politician and former presidential candidate of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), was abducted in Nairobi, Kenya. He resurfaced on November 20 when he was brought to a military court in Kampala, Uganda, and charged with security-related offenses, including unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition. This incident has raised questions, and Parliament demanded an explanation, with a deadline set for today. However, it's still unclear whether the government will provide a response. We hear from Eron Kiiza, lawyer and part of Besigye's legal team, Simon Mulongo, policy and security analyst, and Tolit Atiya, policy and security analyst, as we discuss the implications of this event and the broader impact on security in Uganda. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
