Deportation fears in Texas: Govt hospitals require immigration status of patients

Government-funded hospitals in the US state of Texas have been ordered to collect information about their patients' immigration status. The rule's been imposed by state governor Greg Abbott, an ally of Donald Trump. Critics fear the information may be used as part of the President-elect's plan for mass deportations after he returns to the White House in January.
