DEPOSITORS MONEY WILL NOT GO DOWN THE DRAIN DUE TO VOLATILITY

African member countries with deposit insurance entities have pledged to protect depositors' funds in the event of financial institution failures. This commitment, made during the Africa Regional Committees of the International Association of Deposit Insurers Conference and Annual General Meeting, is intended to enhance public confidence in the financial system. Depositors are urged to make informed choices when depositing their money while financial institutions are encouraged to continue with robust risk management systems. This was observed at the opening of 3-day Africa regional committees of the international association of deposit insurers conference and annual general meeting in Kampala.
