The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Derrimon Group have officially signed a multi-million dollar agreement aimed at enhancing product diversification in agriculture and reducing the carbon footprint. As the largest source of multilateral financing to Jamaica, the IDB anticipates that the project will result in a 25% increase in purchases from local suppliers and a doubling of regional imports, particularly from Suriname and Guyana.
