The Police Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety, in partnership with the Ministry of Works and Transport, has engaged with stakeholders in the transport sector to finalize the drafting of regulations supporting the recently passed Traffic and Road Safety Act of 2023. The Traffic Police Directorate spokesperson, Michael Kananura, stated that these engagements are aimed at preventing future conflicts between enforcement teams and other transport stakeholders.
