Development of textile industry - Phasing out secondhand clothes and footwear in Uganda

The government has been urged to incentivize private sector investment in the spinning and weaving production so as to stimulate production and increase on the portion of cotton lint consumed domestically if they are to implement the ban on second hand clothes in Uganda.
