Diego Martin Borough Council’s First Annual Civic Awards Ceremony

It was an evening of celebration at the Diego Martin Borough Council’s First Annual Civic Awards Ceremony. In commemoration of the first anniversary of the Inauguration of the Borough of Diego Martin, nominations were invited for 14 award categories, including the Good Neighbour Award, and submissions were welcomed for the first Borough Day Historical Site Video Competition. Mayor of the Borough of Diego Martin, Akeliah Glasgow-Warner, spoke on the inspiration for the awards. Mayor Glasgow-Warner thanked those present for their shared vision of progress and prosperity. She expects this will be the first of many Community Recognition Awards Ceremonies celebrating civic contributions.
