Digital payments crucial in facilizing frontline workers during health campaigns

Makerere University School of Public Health, in partnership with other organizations, has conducted research on the opportunities for scaling up digital payments for health workers during large-scale health campaigns in Sub-Saharan Africa. The research project, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Health Organization, covers 8 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on digital health payments during major health campaigns such as immunization and mosquito net distribution.
