Dina Boluarte’s plastic surgery controversy: Peru's president accused of abandoning her post

Peru's President has appeared before prosecutors to explain a two-week-long absence for plastic surgery. Dina Boluarte says the surgery on her nose was medical, not cosmetic. She's accused of abandoning her post, after failing to appoint a caretaker president. Her team says she carried out her duties virtually while recovering.
