DIRE WARNING TO YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT ‘SEXTORTION’ SCAMS

Young Antiguans and Barbudans are being urged to be careful online amidst a sinister ‘sextortion’ scheme that has already turned deadly in other parts of the world. The alarm is being sounded by veteran diplomat, Sir Ronald Sanders, who says this is an extremely worrying development. He believes the country's cybercrimes operations should be bolstered to keep ahead of these emerging threats. Garfield Burford reports.
