‘Disappointing’: Netanyahu criticises Australia’s decision to support Palestine

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly criticised Labor's support for Palestine at a UN meeting in New York this week. Australia voted for Israel to withdraw its forces from the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem in a motion that passed by 157 votes to eight. The Australian reported Benjamin Netanyahu said Anthony Albanese's “disappointing” vote would “invite more terrorism”. Mr Netanyahu has also suggested Australia may no longer be Israel's key ally.
